Dear Principal: Greetings!
This year, Peace Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Please see below for content that you may use in your assemblies and in your classes. This year, in collaboration with the Health and Family Life Education/HIV and Aids Unit of the Core Curriculum Unit of the Ministry of Education, we are asking that your teachers use lessons from the Health and Family Life Education Curriculum. More is said on this later on in this document. This has been a difficult time for our country, and you, your teachers and other members of staff, and our children have been heroes. We hope that spending time celebrating peace will lift our spirits and remind us that we are strong. Have a meaningful Peace Day!
Sincerely
Janilee Abrikian
